Message:   Just got married in vegas on the 6th of November and had a fantastic time, was slightly concerned before it as had planned it all via the internet but in the end had no worries as all went smoothly.
We were married in monbelami, doing the elvis pink caddy package and it was so funny, all our guests had an excellent time. The staff there were great and really made you feel like the only couple getting married that day.
We had our meal at caneletto, in the venetian, which was a perfect setting and reasonably priced for 12 of us plus numerous bottles of wine!
Not forgetting James(Glamsquad), thanks for a job well done!!

Message:   Hi everybody, I just booked my vegas trip for Dec.1. I can't believe I did it, now I have a lot to think about and I am feeling stressed. I only have 3 weeks to plan!! We don't want to spend a pile of cash. I booked a photographer (Henri Sagalow) he seems really nice, and I have Deb from Beautiful Brides doing my hair and makeup. I HAVEN'T PICKED A CHAPEL YET I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!!! I like the Mon Bel Ami, but I don't know what to believe on the message boards. It seems like such a huge decision. I also thought of the Always and Forever wedding chapel. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Message:   Well, we're getting married at the Mon Bel Ami on Veteran's Day, just paid the rest of our dues today and asked our coordinator Jennifer a few questions. I've been watching their live weddings every day and decided that I didn't care much for the male that performs the ceremonies, so I asked Jennifer if I could request Kate to perform our ceremony and she went ahead and did that for us. Because our ceremony will be just the two of us I also asked if someone could assist me in putting my dress on and she said yes. I've read a lot of the negative reviews on this board and it scared me a little, but thus far I've had nothing but pleasurable experiences with this chapel. Two weeks left and once it's said and done I'll be sure to repost on my experiences :)

On another note, I have booked hair and makeup through the Glamsquad. Any reviews on them? How long did it take for them to do hair/makeup? Anyone get the airbrushed makeup?

I've never been to Vegas before so any "must sees" of the town?

Message:   I got married at Mon Bel Ami in July. They were absolutely fabulous! You should have no worries about your ceremony. The chapel is new(er) and is as nice as it looks on the website. Our ceremony went off without a hitch and I could not have been happier with our photos (we bought the photo CD). I also used the Glamsqaud for my hair and makeup. It took about an hour and half, but I would plan for two hours, just so you're not rushed. They did an AMAZING job. I was HORRIBLY sick (and had been for two months prior to the wedding) so I DESPERATELY needed help 'getting my cute on'. The girl (Neesha?) did an awesome job. I had huge bags under my eyes, but when she got done with my hair and makeup, I looked like a million bucks. I can email you some pics if you'd like.

I don't think I could have chosen a better chapel! The ladies, Jennifer and Danielle, were very nice, and the photographer Amado was as well. The chapel is SO cute :)

I didn't purchase any specific package...I created my own. Make sure you do the dove release, it makes for some awesome pictures!

Thank you for the reassurance on the Mon Bel Ami. I kind of thought some of these messages were phony, but once I watched a few live online weddings I felt better, and I saw you going through the same thing I was, and to see the end result was a huge relief.
I put my deposit on Mon Bel Ami today, we are doing a custom package as well. I can't wait!

Message:   Well, we finally tied the knott! When I originally became engaged, we were living in the mid west. Then we had to move to another state because my fiance got a new job. So I had to plan my wedding via the internet. I wasn't too thrilled about that, but I really had no choice. We were referred to the Mon Bel Ami Wedding Chapel by some friends of my fiance. They had been to a wedding there 6 months prior and had some really good things to say about it. I got their website address from his wife, and went from there. We tied the Knot on 9-30-05.

My wedding coordinator was Lisa. What a god send she was! She was so patient, and answered all of my emails and phone calls. I didn't want Elvis to actually perform the ceremony, so she suggested to have elvis sing at the ceremony. I went along with this, and we had Darryn Lee as Elvis at our wedding. He was great! He even posed for some pictures after the wedding.

The limo we used from them was right on time both picking us up and droping us back at the Bellagio Hotel. They were very helpful and friendly at the chapel. My fiance arrived a little too early at the chapel, and they were still cleaning up a bit, but they were very accommodating. I chose my own music and they played that for us for the entrance.

The photographer was real good. 99.9% of the pictures he took were great. A couple came out blurred, and in one picture that he took while we were dancing with my mother-in-law, you could see someone standing in an open doorway behind us. But overall, very good.

The one thing I was dissapointed in was that no one got a picture or video of my fiance's reaction to Elvis when he walked in. To me that would have been priceless.

But Overall, I would highly recommend this chapel to anyone. We had a great experience.

Message:   For any bride who is looking for a perfect little chapel in Vegas, Mon Bel Ami is it! We were a somewhat apprehensive about doing a "Vegas" wedding since we wanted to stick with a more traditional ceremony. All of my anxiety went away the firt time I talked with Danielle, my wedding coordinator. She will do whatever it takes to make your wedding day exactly how you want it...from the flowers to the transportation, she had it covered! And, I can't say enough about the photography. Amado was our photographer and we couldn't be more pleased with our pictures!

I also recommend the Glamsquad for your nails, hair and make-up. The girls came to my hotel room and glammed up three of us and we had the BEST time! It was so much fun and our nails, hair and make-up all looked outstanding! Definitely pamper yourself with the Glamsquad - totally worth it!

If you're contemplating a Vegas wedding, I can honestly tell you that Mon Bel Ami made it the best FIRST day of the rest of our lives together!

Message:   Our special day could not have been any more special. The chapel at Belleza was beautiful. From the time I walked through the front door until the time I walked out I could not have been happier. The whole building is decorated beautifully, including the outside gazeebo. Jerry and Janet were extremely helpful during the entire planning of the wedding. The DVD of the ceremony was excellent and so were the photographs. I could not have been happier anywhere else. Jerry and Janet, thank you so much for making our day so beautiful!

Our wedding day was amazing and all thanks to the wonderful organising of the girls at Mon Bel Ami, we had Jesse Garon perfomr as Elvis and although originally we did not plan to have Elvis perform the full ceremony he really relaxed us and made the day unforgettable. Everyone got to see the video live and are still watching it weeks later. The photographer was excellent and with the extra photos package we got a CD of 94 photos which we are free to copy as we wish. We even got the wedding grams from friends and family printed out on the day which came as a surprise.

All together a great day which we will remember for years to come. Trully recommend the wedding chapel having walked down the strip and looked at the others, a lot more tasteful and looks exactly as it does on their website.

You will definately not regret booking the Mon Bel ami for your special day, we didnt.

Message:   A note about my wedding experience at Mon Bel Ami chapel. From the moment I called the chapel and spoke to Danielle (my wedding coordinator), I felt at ease about the planning of the ceremony. We spoke about scheduling an Elvis impersonator for the wedding and she suggested Eddie Powers (a great choice)!! I also spoke to her about transportation to the chapel for our 30 guests, and she arranged for a bus to pick up for a reasonable rate. Her customer service was impeccable and she was patient with all my questions and concerns.

When we got to Vegas we were a bit apprehensive about the condition of the chapel. Once we got there all our concerns were unfounded. We were met at the door by Jennifer (Danielle's co-worker) and she gave us a tour of the chapel. The chapel is only two years old and in fantastic condition. She was a great person to visit with until Danielle was available for us. Danielle took time for us to make a couple of suggestions and adjustments for the ceremony. She was right on the money with the changes and we were ready to go!! I would suggest that you go to the chapel two days before the ceremony to get the lay of the land and make any changes that may come up.

The ceremony was incredible!! Eddie did a fantastic job and really seemed to be enjoying himself!! I strongly reccomend him, if you are wanting to go this direction. The photographer that is contracted with the chapel is also excellent. Immediately, after the ceremony he made a digital slide show set to music of all the pictures (unbelievable)!! They were fantastic and we purchased the whole package. Danielle also made sure that all our guests were transported to the reception location, and then the bus was brought back for the immediate family.

I strongly recommend Mon Bel Ami (Danielle and Jennifer), Eddie Powers (Elvis Impersonator) and the photographer.

Message:   To all who are looking to get married in Las Vegas I can not say enough good things about the Mon Bel Ami wedding chapel and there staff. I am extremely indecisive and Lisa was exceptionally patient with me. She responded so quickly to my millions of emails and phone calls. Everything was planned over the internet since I am from Canada. Once we got to Vegas we went to look at the chapel a couple of days ahead of time and Lisa was faboulous showing us around. On the day of the wedding it was nice to know that I didn't have to worry about any thing and could just relax knowing they were taking care of it all. The video was great and so was the fact that our friends and family could watch over the internet. The photographer was an absolute hoot. He was a lot of fun and took some great pictures. I hope people choose Mon Bel Ami because I am sure they will have the same wonderful experience that I did.

Message:   When I was picking chapels, I found bad reviews on all of them. So, I went with the one that provided the best customer service to me. Hands down, that was Mon Bel Ami. I DID find a number of good reviews about them on this website though. Now granted, I haven't actually gotten married there yet, but if they continue with the service they're currenly providing, I'll be happy. Danielle has been really helpful, I even e-mailed her a picture of my dress so they can match the roses in my bouquet to my dress. She's also sending The Glam Sqaud to my room for hair and make-up. They've been much more 'hands-on' than I expected, which is good because it's so hard to plan this whole event blind! Good Luck to you and I'll let you know how it all comes out!

Message:   Hi there - I got married at the Mon Bel Ami Chapel on 1st June. Yes it was a lovely service & Danielle was fab. However, make sure you discuss whht type of fotos & who you want filming on your DVD. Our fotos are good but most of the shots are of me on side profile & the back of my husbands head. Plus on some of the shots the lighting isn't too good. We didn't get time to check our cd before we left so make sure you do. The DVD just shows me & my husband & didn't film any of our guests as they were waiting. This is partly our fault as we didn't say what we wanted but as 1st timers its all new so you do expect some guidance. Other than that it was a great day & the chapel's organisation is great & its a beautiful place. Just make sure you speak in depth to Danielle so she knows exactly what you want.

Message:   I LOVED THE MON BEL AMI. I was married there July 2, 2005 and we had a blast. I knew nothing about Vegas (we live in California) I found the place on the internet and by they way the allowed us to have our Dog at the ceremony. We got to Vegas on the Wed before and decided to drive by and take a look. I was freakin' out because it was in a kinda bad area or at least I believed it to be. We drove by and saw this really cute pleasant looking little place and I started to feel better. We pulled up and I tried to peek inside but couldn't so we went by the next day and it took a look inside and I fell in love with it!!! There was a lesbian couple in there all alone...I felt bad for them, no family nothing with them. But we hugged and wished each other luck in our respective marriages. Then Saturday came around and they were all so sweet and friendly and accommodating! Very accommodating. Lisa was the one who helped us and she was great! Cant say enough good things about her.

Sadly I do have two complaints 1 is about the bouquet, it was not exactly what I wanted (to be fair I really didn't know what I wanted, however I wanted a bigger one than I got). The other was about the video I wish it was longer and showed more of our guests maybe making comments about us or wishing us well before the ceremony. That would of been a great suprise!
It was really pleasant, the ambiance was nice, and I would do it there again (hopefully wont have to) but maybe renew vows?? We will see.

I just booked our wedding at Mon Bel Ami for July 28. I narrowed my choices down to Mon Bel Ami or The Little Chapel of Flowers. I ended up going with Mon Bel after veiwing several of the live weddings on both chapels websites. Mon Bel Ami has a very intimate and romantic setting and Danielle sealed the deal with her great personality. Now that I can check this off of my to-do list I can start working on everything else. Message:   I would have to agree that Mon Bel Ami was a great choice for a chapel. I planned my wedding via the internet and when I got to Vegas and saw what the other chapels looked like in person I am glad I went with my gut feeling and chose Mon Bel Ami. The chapel is beautiful, everyone who works there was friendly and made me and my wedding party feel very comfortable. I don't really have anything bad to say about my experience but I will point out 3 things that I was a little disappointed with. The first was the limo. The limo was beige and looked very used. I know it is not their personal limo service but I would have preferred a white or black one. The other was the minister's monotone voice throughout the ceremony. The last was the location. The chapel is not located near the main strip area. It is about 10 mins down the strip in a less desired area. Other than that it was a wonderful experience.

Message:   Most of the free standing chapels ARE located in between the Stratosphere and downtown. Still on the strip(Las Vegas Blvd.) Just not as close to the newer hotels. The chapels on the main section of the strip will be the ones inside the hotels and will have the prices to match.

I'll let you know how it goes, but I was really impressed by these items 1) they CALLED ME BACK (no other chapel bothered to return calls or messages) 2) They have stayed in touch through the process and 3) One HOUR chapel time.....less rush!. Hope that gives you some thoughts!

Message:   I live in Texas and chose Mon Bel Ami based on the webiste. I must say, the chapel looks exactly like the photos and everything was provided as promised.

The Chapel is in downtown Las Vegas by the courthouse like many others, but they've created an oasis in the middle of it. All of our photos (indoors and out) were great and Armado the photographer was terrific. We choose the Photography package and received the CD of all our photos with a copyright release.

The chapel employs two ministers and I highly recommend Kate! She provided a beautiful ceremony and can provide the vows in advance.

I primarily worked with Danielle who was responsive to all my calls and emails over the course of four months. Jerry was present on the wedding day and was extremely helpful! Everything was superb and all 20 of our guests were very impressed!

Mon Bel Ami does not have a reception site, they work through another vendor. I recommend booking the reception on your own. We had ours at Cupid's which is two blocks down and loved it!!

Even the Limosine driver was into the ceremony.

Message:   Hello we got married a few months ago in Vegas.. We went to MonBelAmi, the chapel is very nice. Beware the pictures!!! Make sure before you leave you are totally satisified with your pictures, especially if they put them on disc. We were told they were a little yellow and just take them to a real place(not wal-mart or CVS) to print out our pictures and they will look fine. Well I went to several places and no one could help me. The pictures were horribly yellow, even our skin was yellow. I wrote both MonBelAmi and the photographer. The photographer even tried to tell me what software to use to make the pictures look good. I even bought the software he recommended and it still didnt work. I finally had to threaten them and demand my money back and they re-did all the pictures and sent me a disc within 4 days. 5 months later, and many e-mails, and finally threatening them, I got what I wanted... Make sure you get it done before you leave....Be very very careful with these people.

Message:   I just wanted to add for the benefit of others considering Mon Bel Ami that our photos were lovely. While viewing them on the computer screen some did appear to have a yellow cast as it was a candlelight ceremony. However, we bought the CD and the prints were perfect! They were as gorgeous as the photos posted on the Mon Bel Ami website! We had the large prints (8x10 and 11x16) made at a photo printing studio, but also made many 5x7 prints off our HP Printer at home with no troubles. We emailed photos to all our friends and family and many of them printed the photos on their home computer.

Armado was a great director and had lots of good ideas for poses. He was also very responsive to my requests.

My one suggestion to engaged couples planning a wedding at Mon Bel Ami is to ask to have the group photos divided between inside and outside. Our wedding ended at 4pm and the outdoor lighting was magnificent! I loved all the photos and my only regret was that we didn't take more group shots outdoors!
We have just returned from Las Vgas, where we got married at Mon Bel Ami. I must say that I am so glad we chose this chapel, as some of them are horrid.

We hired a limo to take us to the chapel, where we drove right down the strip.

Once arriving at the chapel, we were please with everything about the chapel. We also arranged with the chapel for the wedding to be broadcast on the internet, so our parents and family could watch back home.

The service was lovley, and everything went wonderfully. The photographist was really good and took lots of excellent photos of us inthe chapel as well as on the grounds.

I would recommend this chapel to anyone who is wanting to get married in Las Vegas, as this is definatley the nicest chapel inside and out.
